El álbum será lanzado en marzo de 2015 y cuenta con la participación de Johnny Marr en la canción de cierre.

Noel Gallagher anunció su nuevo álbum de estudio llamado Chasing Yesterday, que será publicado como Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Además el ex integrante de Oasis compartió el primer simple, “In The Heat of the Moment”.

Este nuevo disco será lanzado el 2 de marzo del 2015 e incluye una aparición especial de Johnny Marr en la canción de cierre “Ballad Of the Mighty I”. “Es realmente un guitarrista genial y tiene algo que nadie más tiene. Es increíble”, declaró Noel sobre Johnny.

“El primer simple es el último track que grabamos, se llama In the Heat of the Moment. ¿Es genial? Por supuesto que lo es. ¿Qué significa? No significa nada”, dijo el músico.

Chasing Yesterday fue producido por el mismo Gallagher ya que su productor, Dave Sardy no pudo trabajar en este álbum. “Disfruté la libertad pero no la responsabilidad”, agregó Noel.
